Bikes disappear fast in North Florida too, anything left outside is not
safe. I lock mine up in a garage and several alarms. I hope they catch em
but I rarely see that happen.

Longer ago than I care to remember I lived in Savannah Georgia where Motorcycle’s were disappearing at a rapid rate… I hooked up both a commercial alarm and one of my own design, a flood light that I could switch on next to my bed and kept a loaded gun next to me… One morning when the alarm went off I open my window, turned on the light, cocked my gun and scared the hell out of a garbage man who had bumped into my bike… But it never got stolen. Also occurred to me that knowing a garbage man would be a perfect way to know where bikes were stored in those days… Later, Mike “moonbeam“ Major.
