Hi on air people and KCBX staff! Please welcome Jim Conroy, who’s the host of our new program, Celtic Crossroads. As you know, Fiona Ritchie ended the Thistle & Shamrock this past weekend, and Jim has stepped up to do our own, local Celtic music program in the same Saturday time slot from 5:00-6:00 p.m. Please promote the show. There’s a recorded promo in the promo folder on the studio computers (and right now it’s on the MCR desktop, too). It’s also attached, for those of you who record your shows at home. Plus, there’s a blurb in this week’s Programming Update that you can read. Jim will play a variety of Celtic music from around the world by both beloved and new artists. Eventually you’ll likely hear occasional short chats with musicians, too (just like Fiona used to do). The program page should be up on our website tomorrow sometime.
