*THIS ONLY APPLIES TO THOSE WITH A KEY TO OUR OUSTIDE DOORS* Hi everyone, Your keys no longer work on the front and back doors of the KCBX building. There is now a keypad mounted outside, at the front and back doors that is used to unlock the door for entry. *Until the old lock is removed, don’t ever use your key to lock the front door again.* Your alarm code, WITH AN ADDED DIGIT, unlocks the front and back doors. (Keep reading) If your code was 1234, you will now add a zero and enter: 01234*#* on the outside keypad. Entering the code unlocks the door and* disarms the alarm system, **IF IT IS SET.* If the alarm needs to be set when you leave the building, you still need to do that on the keypad inside the door, again using your *code with the “zero”*… 01234. You still need to press “CMD” after entering your code to set the alarm on the INSIDE KEYPAD. Eventually, we will have the ability for you to unlock the front or back door from the computer in the control room, after looking at the camera monitor that will also be available on the computer in the control room. Note for the back door, sometimes it doesn’t latch properly. Always make sure it does lock when entering or leaving by that door.
