No for a number of good reasons. (All of which I’m guessing at) including:
The mountain itself is huge and would cost a fortune to set up, there isn’t much (any) cell coverage for communication, once in place you can’t move up or down the mountain, and the racing schedule delay’s are endless. Plus, every year around 1pm it snows or hails or gets too windy and they call it off. If the wind picks up the medical helicopter can’t fly so more delays. All at 14,200 feet.  Also, many people get altitude sick and once you get the headache you better stop working now and go lay down and this happens to everyone so your crew could be hampered at any point.
Tv via taped coverage by say, drone or some combo yes, but live tv, don’t hold your breath.
This place is crazier than the Isle of Man...

Seems like that would be the case but it’s really not. Because they paved
it a piece at a time over a number of years. So now it’s much faster than
it used to be and the pavement is different every few corners, bad enough
when it’s sunny, really nuts if there’s weather.    Most corners have no
guardrails, or trees or anything to stop you from making a trip to Colorado
Springs the fast way.  I don’t think it’s less crazy now. I actually think
it’s more crazy.  To be honest that place scares me a lot. You go fast
there, #respect

Ive been to the top of the Peak several times as my Sister and her Husband lived in Co. Springs.
The ride is pretty scary and Guardrails are few and far between...I remember pulling over to calm dodwnon several rides up the MOuntain...But once up there looking down on the airplanes and if your lucky watchiing Military training flights do nap of the earth thru the passes was awesome..
While I was there I flew RC aircraft with my dad with many USAF retirees that still live in the Springs..
They were great people and made me welcome ...good memories
