Nouvelle Vague - Should I Stay Or Should I Go?

https://soundcloud.com/nouvelle-vague-official

Will fit on a lot of shows. Please give it a listen. Please play it. Please
mention it.
Alternative, Eclectic, World, even Jazz and more. Give it a listen and see
if it will fit on your show and then please try to include it.
Maybe Tom DiSanto would like to tell you more about it?

Thanks,
Neal

Thanks Neal-

Great choice.
The album is brand new, but I have played tracks off of it three weeks in a row.  I agree it will fit on World, Eclectic and Indie Alternative shows, plus jazz and Latin groove shows too.

Nouvelle Vague is less of a band than it is a collection of French musicians that alternate in and out on each track.  They have a wide bench, so to speak, and they use it to their advantage.  They feature French chanteuses such as Melanie Pain, Eloise Frege, Vanessa Paradis, Camille, Coeur de Pirate, Phoebe Killdeer, Helena Noguerra, Alonya, Bijou and Marine Quemere.

The name is sort of a Triple Entendre.  Nouvelle Vague means New Wave in French.  The French women sing in English, covering British New Wave music from the 80s.  The music has Bossa Nova overtones, hence the latin jazz vibe, and Bossa Nova is suggestive of New Wave in Brazilian Portoguese (literally New Trend Music).

Voila.
I think it will fit on a lot of shows.

Thanks Neal,
bes_T

How would one best pronounce it? Is it "NEW-vell VAHG"?  I am not friends
with French.
