Tear offs made from the same rubber as the tires then they won’t slip on
them?
Add a warning sign to all tear offs that this product may affect visibility

Or, make the tear offs tearoffable (ha!) but have them still be attached
to the helmet so they flap in the breeze. Make the ends really bright
colors so they aid in rider identification. It'll be really enjoyable for
the riders too, hearing and feeling the flapping tearoffs beat against
their helmets and shoulders at 200mph.
Nah, that sounds silly...I like Lan's idea better! hahahahahaha

I’ve patented a vegan tear off that self destructs as soon as it’s removed
from the shield.
Who’s got a better idea than that?
Pecco says to allow Marshalls to clean up the tear offs during the race
LOL.
Or, tear off removal are allowed only on certain sectors or the track.

Yes. For years, I've been trying to toss my tear-offs into other riders'
intakes (as they pass me), with zero success. I've already sent an email to
Fabo (or "Efe", as those of us really close to him call him), asking how he
managed this. If I find out how he did it, don't ask me to share, but be
very careful about passing me.

I have to go with Lan's suggestion, only I say we make them edible (they've
been making plastic bags out of cornstarch for years). If a rider tears it
off in the paddock/pit lane, no problem. But, if he tears it off on the
track, he has to eat it. We might need more of the High Def, High Speed
cameras to catch the action.
