I may have gotten one of those defunct share certs for Xmas one year.
Pags, I was there in the stock exchange with the Ducati staff when they rang the bell and opened trading. Ducati brought a Monster upstairs (my recollection is it was a 600 dark) which was the first time a motorcycle had ever been in the building according to the NYSE person I spoke to that day.
I have photos. I’ll have to look for them.

Somewhere I have a picture of me having dinner with Federico Minoli in 2008.

I’m thinking this is the place to share that photo Tom. Those events were pretty epic by todays standards as I recall. You and I and the other early DOC Presidents were treated to some crazy days. :-)

I remember the first one I attended and it may have been the first ever.
Maybe 2002? A1 Ring, Zeltwig Austria maybe, they even let us do some laps
on our rental Ducati! =/8^O. I remember riding around the local forests
with two members of the Dutch club. One was on a 749 the other a
Multistrada. The 749 rider went wide on a downhill right and almost ran
into the front of a tractor. The farmer stopped and he went to the left
shoulder to avoid a head on collision and ended up wedged between the rear
wheel of the tractor and the side of the hill. His buddy stopped on the
down hill to help and fell getting off his bike. We spent the next hour
and a half trying to fix the bike so Ducati would not know they had been
abused. Fun times for sure. One guy brought his girlfriend who had just
gotten her license a week before the trip. They ended up putting her bike
in the chase van. He would not let her ride with him because he wanted to
ride with the fast group. I am sure that relationship did not last.

Me, Clapci, Minoli, late April 2007, somewhere in Italy. Minoli arrived
on the prototype Hyper.
