Script for Pledge Drive - Early Matching
Hi all! Here’s a script you can use for the early matching challenge. It’s
also in the black box in the control room, along with the other pre-pledge
scripts. Please lean heavily on it between now and 9/17:

As you’re listening to (name of program), remember that it’s here because
of listeners like you. This is a perfect time to make a gift to KCBX
because right now you can double your impact. Your donation to KCBX between
now and September 17th will be matched dollar for dollar and build the
pledge drive Challenge Fund. Help us get a head start on our fall pledge
drive by giving online now at KCBX dot org or by calling 800-549-8855
(during business hours).
You can also read one of the other scripts in the box (that I also sent out
previously), and add this as a tag: “Every gift made before Wednesday
(September 18th) will be matched dollar for dollar. Help us get a head
start on Pledge Drive!”

Hi all,
A few notes about pledge drive, matching challenges, and promos.
*Pledge Drive Goal: *Our pledge drive goal is $220,000, and we have raised
$20,000 so far. Keep track of where we are at kcbx.org (starting on
Monday). I appreciate all your help with getting to the goal -- it's
important that we reach it.
*Promote early giving Sept 10 - 17: *,Every pre-pledge drive gift will be
matched dollar for dollar (up to $15,000!). This is a great way to
encourage early giving. We are promoting the challenge on our website, on
social media and please add it into your pre-pledge drive scripts.
*NPR+ : *Last night at the meeting, I mentioned NPR+
https://kcbx.plus.npr.org/. If you would like an NPR+ account, please
reply to me, and I'll add you so you can set up an account.
