Hi everyone,

Lots has happened in the past couple of days. Here’s a link to a 4-minute
story from earlier today that does a good job of explaining where things
stand.

Chris created a page https://www.kcbx.org/kcbx-and-federal-funding that
will be updated as circumstances change. There will also be a link to it on
our home page.

The response from our supporters and listeners continues to be gratifying
and generous.

It started immediately after the election results were announced, and it
has continued to build and strengthen, motivating us to stay the course.

We all get to a point where we can’t listen anymore and find ourselves
taking a break from the news. But our morning, afternoon and evening news
hosts can’t shut it off. They need to pay attention, no matter how dismal
the news becomes. Thanks to you all.

And music hosts, in your own individual way, you provide a sanctuary for so
many people seeking a respite, looking for well-curated music, and a
knowledgeable, friendly voice.

This isn’t easy on any of us. Thank you all.

If you have any questions, let me know.

Frank
