Yes, but the downside is then you don't know what is being discussed. I
leave the emails and when I see something come in I open the Empathy List
Archives (harmonylists.io)
https://harmonylists.io/empathy/list/ducati.list.ducati.net link.
Basically I use the emails like notifications on my phone.
But I can turn delivery off if you want and keep you as a member.

Vicki, I like that a lot! Even on email it is sometimes difficult to
follow the threads of messages. Is it possible to stop the emails and
strictly use the archives?

The list generates digests based on activity and amount of content. So if,
say, three people post good sized responses that might be enough to
generate a digest mailing from the list. Basically it’s set on a certain
size and when it reaches it, out goes a digest. The downside is that if you
are on digest you aren’t always in the timeline of the conversation as it
happens. Stephen, for you I think digest would be ok but maybe the new
Archive site would be better. I find it really useful, makes the
conversations clear, and now that’s how I read and respond to most of the
posts.
Please check it out, it’s pretty wonderful:

That's the link to the online archives which is a great way to follow the
list threads and even answer the ones you choose to reply to. It's super
tidy and easy to follow. you can also post replies and photos there as well.
To include a photo in your post, use the “paperclip” file icon, not the
image icon.
I have attached a photo to this so the people on digest who I just changed
to a different setting to try and eliminate the gibberish can see a photo
for the first time...
The photo is COTA MotoGP. I'm feeling nostalgic for MotoGP that's not on
TV. Lol, look at that crowd. It's still on the schedule for April 18th,
2021. Fingers crossed.
Finally, If your digest is still not perfect let me know. I have one more
trick up my sleeve to fix it.
