So far we have 12 volunteers and 9 staff who have RSVP’d. We have about 40 on-air volunteers, so let’s get more of you there to see each other! We’re having our on-air host meeting in two and a half weeks. It’s scheduled for Tuesday, September 10th in the KCBX classroom. Please RSVP to Neal and me ASAP. This is a great chance to see/meet your fellow hosts, learn about the station, and share your ideas or concerns. We talk about important things at these meetings, so we hope you can come. Plus, we love seeing you in person. We’ll start with mingling and beverages at 5:30, and the meeting will start promptly at 6:00. We promise to be done by 7:30, latest. As usual, we’ll have a message from Frank about the state of the station (including our new studios), and hear reports from KCBX News about changes, a new reporting fellow, and the projects they’re working on. Chris will update us on fundraising and pledge drive, Hank on Operations, Neal on music, and Marisa on programming in general, and some programming changes. If there’s anything you’d like us to address, or if there’s something you’d like to share, please let me know by Monday, 9/9. We will take some time to go around the room and introduce ourselves.
