Hello All, My two latest submissions CUMBER LOWER PARISH MARRIAGES and DEATHS ANNOUNCEMENTS (from newspapers) is relevant to Tyrone and Donegal research. This parish lies on the Tyrone/ Londonderry county boundary and is contiguous with Donagheady parish, Co. Tyrone. The marriage announcements indicate in several instances that at least one of the contracted partners hailed from either Tyrone or Donegal. I hope a researcher locates a family member. Thank you so much for these marriage announcements. I have been trying to find my Gilfillan ancestors and there are 6 Gilfillan marriages listed here! My great great great grandmother is *Jane Gilfillan*, who married *Samuel Kennedy* in Londonderry in 1805 (which appears to be about 1 generation earlier than these marriages). They ended up in Allegheny County, PA. After his death, she remarried John Arbuckle and moved to Ohio. I am trying to find her parents. If anyone has any connections to or information about the Gilfillan family, please let me know.
