I was alternately impressed and depressed with MM's ride Sunday. Anybody had to be impressed with the way he flew through the rest of the field after his first get-off, but depressed that he didn't realize he was burning up his tires so they wouldn't be there at the end of the race, which is why some of the riders toward the front were so easily overtaken - they were managing their tires. But looking at the big picture, Marquez is simply on another, higher level than any other rider racing currently; he reminds me of Casey Stoner.

Okay, I have to start this with a confession: I sold my 900 to a good
friend, which is another story for another post. He just called with a
problem, and I am looking for ideas; of what it might be, or where to look.
Here's what I know:
There is a slow but significant gas leak which he first spotted coming out
of a cross over tube between the two banked Keihin FCR carbs. He had ridden
the bike earlier today and it ran fine. Now, after sitting in the garage
for a while after today's ride, the gas is dripping from where the Termis
connect to the muffler. At first I was thinking fuel pump, like there was a
cut off that was not working. But, now, I'm thinking overflow tube has
broken or dropped off and is lying inside the tank. My friend is right now
draining the tank and should know if I'm right soon (if he doesn't pass out
from the evaporated gas fumes first).
Any other ideas?
Kevin
BTW, I still have the '85 Alazzurra and the Cucciolo, but otherwise have
gone over to the dark side and bought a Lightning Strike electric
motorcycle. More on that after I adjust to it and thrash it about a bit.

For the leak by the carb I would check the hose going to the fuel inlet. They will dry out and crack causing a leak especially if it is the original hose. This happened on my monster with fcr?s . Be careful taking it off the plastic inlet or you will have to replace the inlet . Ask me how I know. Not sure where the leak would be coming from by the termis. Good luck

Anybody else getting terrible reception? App or website I have crazy fast

Regardless it feels so NORMAL to be watching the race on a Sunday am.

Ummm, we watched it live yesterday, though we missed some bits so I
watched it again when I got home, as I had recorded it just in case.

So, it looks like the championship will be handed to either Quartararro,
Dovizioso or Vi?ales.
This might be Rossi?s year!
Anyhow, it?s all their chance to finally win.
Marquez did not deserve that, especially after an amazing ride. I don?t
remember any rider who could ride the same.
I hope it?s not a career ending injury.
