Nov 15 Tre Burt (full session) WNXP, Nashville A songwriter whose rich lyrics got him signed to John Prine’s label, Tre Burt shares a few songs from his latest album, Traffic Fiction, which was inspired by classic soul sounds. Nov 16 Mighty Poplar “Up on the Divide” WXPN, Philly Bluegrass supergroup Might Poplar features members of Leftover Salmon, Punch Brothers and Billy Strings. This performance of a song on their debut album, which was just nominated for a Grammy, was recorded for the World Cafe. Nov 17 Philip Selway “Picking Up Pieces” WXPN, Philly Radiohead drummer Phillip Selway plays a song from his latest solo album, Strange Dance, at WXPN in Philadelphia.
