900SS/SP Brake Light Switch Issue

Hey all,

Just got a tag for my '95 900SS/SP and have started riding it again. Of course the brake light stopped working from the front lever only - I'm thinking bad switch. So I want to remove and replace it.

My problem is that I'm turning the two screws holding the top end of the switch to the lever housing, but they don't seem to be undoing (!)  I'm turning and turning and those screws are not coming out.

Anybody had this happen or have any ideas for me? I'm perplexed at what the problem might be.

Thanks,

Dallas

Never mind - the Garage was dark and I couldn’t see the nut on the bottom. Please carry on :-)
