SPOILER Brno GP and Motogoat stuff

When MM won his first MotoGP championship I jokingly said to a friend that
they should in advance give the championship to that kid for the next ten
years!  Aside from the anomaly of 2015, I might not have been too far off!

His win at Brno today was dominant to say the least, leading from start to
finish with no one able to touch him.  While I respect his amazing skills
and ability to win, I still don't really like the guy...guess I'm just too
much of a fan of the underdog.

Much as I like Dovi, I think he is doomed to be a perrenial runnerup, at
least for the next couple of years.  I was glad to see Miller on the podium
again, I think he worked pretty hard this weekend and seemed to do a pretty
good job of preserving his tires.  If he had a couple more laps, he just
might have caught Dovi.  Maybe Dovi can do better at the Red Bull Ring next
time.

As for Motogoat, I continue to play by their rules and not change my picks
after FP4 and am currently in 17th place.  Which of you guys is RV900SS?

Colin, Motogoat is a bit weird with scores/placement inconsistent across their platform depending on where you’re looking. My total score for the season so far is different on the global ranking tally from our group total. Your score, on the other hand, is the same on both the group and global ranking, so I don’t know whats going on there. Also, if you are not aware, our group has custom rules enabled so that there are not penalties assessed if you change your picks late in the process. You can certainly choose to play according to another standard, but figured I’d mention it just in case. Not sure who RV900SS is, but he’s certainly doing a bang-up job on the picks. I’m just happy to have caught Pags in the standings! Gotta beat your teammate!

STeve
(who might stop signing off as STeve, since I no longer will be riding my ST1300-my son killed a good size buck Thursday night on it, and it is no longer a viable motorcycle…..thankfully I still have a viable son. Road rash, some deep tissue bruising, bu miraculously no broken bones. It think the mass of the ST, and the fact that he was relatively high up compared to his CBR600 saved his life. If he was lower down on his sport bike, his body/head probably would have hit the deer instead of being launched over it)

Keep alert out there, people………...

I am RV900SS.
I go by the rules for the Ducati group since the group made the change,
only one or two races did I make my picks before Q1 started. I feel like I
have to keep my foot on the gas in this, since I was nipped out at the end
of last season by a small margin.
Hopefully I can continue to make good choices, and all of you make good
choices as well for the remainder of this season.

If you watch what Marquez does on and off track, he actually seems like a
nice dude. He’s just a hard racer, not a priest. The riders always call him
out of not having any respect, but he’s just  there to race hard, win, pack
it up and on to the next race. No BS talks. His skills do the talking.

As for today’s race, I think I might have dozed off for a few laps. The
commentators woke me up when Marquez did his ‘thing’ again.. leg in the
air, looked back and still won the race by 2.45sec ahead.
