First off I'm not an MM guy and did notice, and comment on, 93's sour grapes turf comment on BeIn immediately after the contest. Otherwise he was gracious it seemed. What I did find peculiar was that he "Knew" the Softie was the better choice! How? One of the many hallmarks of the late Reign of Marquis has been the superior strategy & tactics from Team 93. Far & away the best decision making has come from the Honda #1 gang for some time now. Rossi used to be the clever guy but MM's been dominant in this category for a # of seasons I'd opine. This leads me to wonder if, this assumes the Softie was the ideal, Honder outsmarted themselves thinking that if they used the same tire as Dovi they'd lose ergo there's nothing to lose by gambling on the Medium! What is a shame to me is the use of Q tires. Why? My bro-n-law's an F1 fan so he assumed MarkyM, given his almost 1/2 second over the entire field in qualifying, was gonna enjoy a walk in the park. Pace matters. Finally, in defense of MM, while he's toned it down some he does go for it which is more than can be said for some so I don't have a quarrel with him saying he was trying to win the race. In fact as Championships have risen in stature at the cost of winning races I lament the passing of the olde daze.    Phil/NJ
PS.    About that spectacular pass by Dovi, totally clean/legit and far superior to MM's move last year, same turn! Contact?, if Marquis complained he'd win Hypocrite of the Decade!

It was an ok move and it was quite predictable. Last year’s race was more
exciting and Jorge’s move on the outside was definitely amazing.

You want to see spectacular?  Vale’s pass on Jorge in Catalunya 09. All the
pro racers have said that it wasn’t even a corner/passing area and they
don’t fathom how he did it until now..

MM doesn’t complain about contact because he does it and he himself said
that he likes racing that way.  Did you watch the sloMo? You can see the
contact that made MM almost crash. His brake guard level also got pushed
down from the impact. No complaints though from MM.  Dovi puts his hand up
in anger when he doesn’t like harsh maneuvers. That’s why he's still ain’t
a MotoGp champ. Either be aggressive or run away like Stoner/Lorenzo to win.

Okay, you're on.

When did curling become a contact sport?
Name me one curler who was injured as a result of curling competition.

I think I may have sprained my thumb playing tiddly winks years ago. Does
that count?

a # of seasons I'd opine. This leads me to wonder if, this assumes the
Softie was the ideal, Honder outsmarted themselves thinking that if

they

used the same tire as Dovi they'd lose ergo there's nothing to lose by
gambling on the Medium! What is a shame to me is the use of Q tires.

Why?

My bro-n-law's an F1 fan so he assumed MarkyM, given his almost 1/2

second

over the entire field in qualifying, was gonna enjoy a walk in the

park.

Pace matters. Finally, in defense of MM, while he's toned it down some

he

does go for it which is more than can be said for some so I don't have

a

quarrel with him saying he was trying to win the race. In fact as
Championships have risen in stature at the cost of winning races I

lament

the passing of the olde daze.    Phil/NJ
PS.    About that spectacular pass by Dovi, totally clean/legit and far
superior to MM's move last year, same turn! Contact?, if Marquis

complained

he'd win Hypocrite of the Decade!

Kevin, they may have MM (The Greatest, to some) in MotoGP, but we have our own MM in the esteemed Mad Max, who is the Greatest on our list. Everybody knows this. Tons of people say that he knows everything, especially about curling. In 2015, a curler named Brad Gushue was rushed to the hospital because he fell during competition and smacked his mouth on the ice, resulting in multiple stitches. So there, Mr Tiddly Winks.

It was an ok move and it was quite predictable. Last year’s race was more
exciting and Jorge’s move on the outside was definitely amazing.

You want to see spectacular?  Vale’s pass on Jorge in Catalunya 09. All

the

pro racers have said that it wasn’t even a corner/passing area and they

MM doesn’t complain about contact because he does it and he himself said
that he likes racing that way.  Did you watch the sloMo? You can see the
contact that made MM almost crash. His brake guard level also got pushed
down from the impact. No complaints though from MM.  Dovi puts his hand

up

in anger when he doesn’t like harsh maneuvers. That’s why he's still

ain’t

a MotoGp champ. Either be aggressive or run away like Stoner/Lorenzo to
win.

I don’t really follow curling, it’s just hilarious..
But like I said, anyone can get hurt  (doesn’t have to be contact sport)
when a person participates in any sport that involves physical strain,
whether it be individual or against another person.

There will always be contact in motorsports Racing , and that makes it
even more exciting. Motocross, American flat track, nascar, F1, V8
Supercars.... it’s racing, not time attack.
