Hi Jim,
Can you add me to the names of interest? My great great grandmother was Margaret McGonigle. She could not spell so may have been spelled different. Born about 1805. Londonderry area is all I know. She immigrated around 1825-1827 to Maryland. I think she was related to a James Andrew McGonigle who also landed in Washington County but he was from somewhere near the Giants Causeway per his orbit. Catholic.
Thank you for everything you are doing. I hope to find those pesky McGonigle's one day! :)
Let me know if you need any other information.
I am working on getting some Catholic records digitized in Washington County, Maryland. I am slowly working on putting families together. It will be a long process but they are already transcribed in a book. I just need the microfiche digitized to confirm. Right now they are only available by visiting the library.
Kindest regards,Meggie Abel
