Hi Len,
I often walk past the old Patrick Street graveyard in Strabane and pause
for a moment to remember the six children who died in the Deaf Children's
Home fire in 1856. A local historian, John Dooher, wrote this book about
it:

Hello Boyd,
Good hearing from you and hope all is well. Thanks for the heads-up re. Johnnie Dooher’s compilation of the story of this horrific event. I have posted separately a photo of the headstone and the newspaper report of the fire and inquest.
Kind regards,
Len Swindley
