It seems the ride by wire and modes aren’t as smooth as we’d all like them to be. It’s a new age for us old folk for sure. My Multi’s wheel control makes the throttle seem disconnected to what’s actually going on. Luckily you can customize the modes to your liking and alleviate a bunch of the haziness associated with what you described.

Not allowing you to have it in a full power mode REALLY robs you of the experience.

Go ride any current Triumph and you’ll find that they really have throttle
by wire sorted.  I’m sure if Ducati are having problems they’ll get them
sorted out pretty quickly.  They don’t generally let perceived performance
issues go unaddressed for long.  (Except for rear brakes)

It seems dumb to demo the bike in the Street Mode when it runs sooo bad. The dealer text me and asked if I was interested in it (they have a good deal on the demo units) and I said not until you fix it.

Have you seen the MV Agusta Rush? WOW. Very cool looking bike. Only downside is the $40,000 price.
