Thanks all... I saw this a couple days ago and thought "that's odd, there's another Dallas who has a 900SS/SP" then realized it was me, from 8 months ago!
As stated, There are 2 micro-nuts that sit in equally micro recesses underneath.
There is also a tiny nylon plunger that actuated the switch... in reverse.
If you can find a Radio Shack.. that one will work but you may have to figure out the connectors.
I did it on mine.
