Yes, CC35 has been with LCR for a few years and yes, he has crashed several
times this year.  However, I believe he's the only other Honda rider on a
2019 Honda to make it to the podium.  When he hasn't crashed he's
consistently finished in the top 10 and as well as providing development
info for Honda on the RC213V(which I might argue hasn't helped Cal).  Honda
seems to have developed a bike that no one aside from MM93 can win with and
I don't think that's Cal's fault!

Solid thoughts, Colin. Cal is one of those (at least for me) unfortunate
?could have beens? in the sense that when he?s healthy and doesn?t fall,
he?s always gonna be a contender. Sadly, he?s gotten so bashed up over the
years that he hasn?t always been ?healthy?. Kind of a shame, but this is
the business of racing. 2020 is going to be great.

Last year nearly did Cal in - it's really a great comeback story as the
dude's ankle is seriously farked.

NOBODY has been able to touch MM on a regular basis, so his performance
this past weekend in my mind was epic, and he's as threatening on any given
weekend as anyone else on the grid.  Honda should have given him the
factory contract.

Let's see what happens with Jorge in the next few weeks/months.  If they
believe his troubles now are due to his injuries, then he'll stick around.
Otherwise.....

Jorge is full of crap. He knows he can?t ride the Honda so he?s just
milking it now. He?ll only divorce Honda if HRC makes the first move.  So
long as he?s getting paid and not getting what he requested, he?ll just
hang around and take the paycheck.

What will Cal do on a Factory Honda? Isn?t he riding a factory spec now?
Pedrosa was the 2nd best Honda rider ever.

So how does Marquez ride it like a psychotic bat and makes it look easy? Is
it because he rides motocross and flat track a lot? Gigantic
Balls, fearless? Obviously he?s got the skills, but there?s got to be
something else..
If he?s really got big balls, let?s see him on the Ducati, Yamaha and  then
Suzuki. Will it ever happen? Why would he switch when he can easily win on
the Honda + the amount of money they?re dumping on him.

I don?t normally mention auctions but this one is so chock full of Ducatis
it?s impossible to ignore. The collection belonged to a well known Florida
motorcycle racer, who sadly passed away in an accident on the way to a
track event.  His race bike collection was largely generated by a South
Florida race shop (Moto Corse Performance) and includes over 30 superbikes
and racers offered at no reserve (meaning everything with an offer of any
amount will sell).  The list includes a 2008 Desmosedici RR, a 1995 Troll
Supertwin race bike,  a Pierobon X11R, 1990 Ducati 750 F1, 2007 Ducati NCR,
2001 MH900e, 1991 907 Paso, 1995 Ducati 916/955 Strada and many, many more.
The parts used on the race bikes alone are significant and worth
mentioning. This was a high dollar collection and it?s all going away this
Saturday, November 9th in Tampa, FL.

The entire collection is over 200 motorcycles and also includes
collectible Japanese sport bikes, two stroke GP and street machines,
scooters and a number of other bikes including some vintage bikes.  Here?s
the link for the collection and online bidding:

Be nice to see this stuff go to good homes...

Surely you can't mean this - or perhaps you mean Pedrosa is the best 2nd
place rider Honda has ever had?

Sure Cal is on roughly equivalent equipment, but racing is mental, and
being in a factory team with those perks and attention would have been good
for him.

A very good friend and Duc enthusiast has this Scrambler for sale.  Good
restoration project as it's complete and intact right from the start.  BOS
only, but being 250cc it's an easy Vermont registration thing (which I may
encourage him to do in advance anyway).

I am with Pags.  The best thing I ever saw was Rossi winning on Honda, then
asking for more money and being informed it was not Rossi but Honda that
won.  What does he do go and ride Yamaha and guess what Honda he won so I
guess he was right after all.  That is why I was so disappointed that he
failed to generate the hoped for results on Ducati.

Oooh, that generated some responses.

I'm sorry Cal didn't stick it out with Ducati, I think he might have done
well if he'd persisted(same for Jorge!).  People seem to forget that
Valentino was a Honda rider and IIRC was the first to win on a 4 stroke
RCV.

Surely you can't mean this - or perhaps you mean Pedrosa is the best

2nd

place rider Honda has ever had?

Sure Cal is on roughly equivalent equipment, but racing is mental, and
being in a factory team with those perks and attention would have been

good

for him.
