Dear developers of gem5,

I wanted to ask a question about the possibility to analyze the Meltdown vulnerability in gem5. I am not quite sure if the O3CPU Model of gem5 is vulnerable to meltdown or how it should be changed in order to make it vulnerable.

Jason Lowe-Power mentioned to me, that it could be possible, that the instruction is squashed when the TLB detects a page table fault and it does not proceed to memory.

I don't have much experience with gem5 and can't find good ressources about this specific topic.
