Found some large cotton swabs by Tipton with seven inch bamboo handles.
Available in various sizes for cleaning handguns, I picked 9mm for the
large heads. Always handy for cleaning the Ducati nooks and crannies! Found
them on Amazon.
Rolex 24 hours of Daytona starts today 1:40 pm EST. Not two wheel racing,
but still exciting...

Did anybody else see the last laps battle between the two Porsches that hit each other in every corner. I was thinking how unusual it was to be watching an old fashioned fender banging that wasn’t an instant fine, penalty or international incident.

Sounds great.
Before my trip back to the USA, I was watching daily reports on the Dakar
race. I still find the Isle of Mann TT more terrifying, but what the riders
do out in the desert,.... I don't need to know who won, or their time; just
watching them hurl a motorcycle across that landscape is exciting.

I just watched the “banging”. I’m sure we have all seen multiple epic last chicane antics with two wheels at that very spot over the years. You can tell that tears are coming-I’m surprised only one of them lost their position. So true what you said about all the finger pointing/cry baby stuff that takes place so commonly in racing nowadays. It was kind of a breath of fresh air………….
STeve missing the glory days of the Daytona 200 in the late 70’s and 80’s. We went down there for every one of them back then…...
