Hello Carol, Thanks for the query. The David Candy recorded in the Longfield East Flaxgrowers List is not a transcription error. It was recorded as such is the original printed list of 1796 and also in two online indexes. (Confirmed this at the local LDS FHC today). The entry is original; handwritten lists were submitted to the Linen Board in Dublin and the typesetters attempted valiantly to decipher the scrawl. Some entries are astonishing.
