Super cool album. Will fit on a lot of shows. Maybe Janelle can say
something more about it. Here is a link to songs to give it a quick listen.
Please try to play it on your show and mention it is featured album of the
week.

Sure thing. Here you have it.

Dos Santos is a super-groovy five-piece group outta Chicago. Their members each have wildly varying musical backgrounds, but they all share a common background of growing up with Latin sounds at home. They’ve been making alternative LatinX music based on traditional rhythms and sounds for about ten years. One of their members is a professor of anthropology. This is their fourth album, and it has hints of cumbia, tropicalia, jazz, and psychedelia.

I’ve been listening to it a lot lately - it’s like taking a little mini-vacation to an exotic tropical country. You should be able to find a track to fit on most shows.

Thanks Neal
Di Santo loves Dos Santos!

I am sending out a quick missive to announce that I just received a free
ticket to Richard Thompson at the Fremont on Sunday Night and was wondering
if anybody wants to have fun with Speak Low this Sunday the 27th of
February.

It is a super fun show with lots of flexibility. l typically play about 65%
modern and vintage jazz (100% of the first hour plus a melange mixed into
the second more eclectic hour).  I typically also slip in at least one set
of French Pop or French Cafe and lots of other down tempo,
Americana/AAA/Indie Alternative/and World from the Western Hemisphere and
South America (Mostly Brazil/Argentina).  None of this is set in stone and
open to interpretation, but those are the guidelines if you want to follow
them to a T.

Let me know.
The show is Sunday night from nine to eleven (21:00 to 23:00).

Thanks
