If you frequently peruse used-bike listings on FB, Craigslist and the like,
(I know, it's a problem), you would be amazed at how little people are
getting for what were cutting-edge bikes just a few years ago.  MV Agusta
F4's, Duc 999/749, Aprilia RSV4's, Tuonos etc.  Prices are so low, I have
seen several perfectly good, non-crashed running bikes being parted out.
These are not trashed bikes, but bikes with maybe 10K miles - lots of
Monsters...definitely a buyer's market as te focus shifts away from
sportbikes...

Ted, don’t I know it! I’ve had the wife’s M796 and my F3 675 up for sale
for six months. I have had lots of interest on my bike. However, nothing but
low, LOW ball offers. And not a single person has inquired about Linda’s
796. (Her Bike was featured in one of the past Desmo Leaning’s Calendars.)
