Hi everyone! Please see below for the songs of the day on our website next
week. One of them (Rissi Palmer) will be at Live Oak on June 25. Her song
with Miko Marks is excellent!
Also, Robbie Fulks is the Monday song. I have to say that I’ve really been
enjoying his new bluegrass album. Considering that he’s never done a
bluegrass album before, it’s impressive that It features some of the
biggest bluegrass stars, including Sam Bush, Sierra Hull, Ronnie
McCoury, Tim O’Brien, Alison Brown, John Cowan and Jerry Douglas. If
bluegrass fits your show, check it out!
Happy weekend,
Marisa

Subject: Live Sessions - Song of the Day: June 12 - June 16
Hello! If a video from your station is featured, it will appear on around
30 public media websites around the country in their “Song of the Day”
video player. The following best practices will maximize the impact for
your local audience.
- Make sure you have the “Song of the Day” player embedded on your
website. If it’s not currently embedded and you would like it to be, reach
out to Mark for the embed code (mark@vuhaus.com).
- If your station has a video featured on the “Song of the Day” player,
the day of the feature is a great day to push listeners to your station
website via on-air and socials, and to ask your featured artist to
do the same.
Here are the “Song of the Day” videos from NPR Live Sessions scheduled for
the next week: June 12 - June 16, 2023.
Please reach out with any questions, thanks!
