Someone hacked my PayPal account last year and bought $850 worth of PC computer equipment from Ebay. It was a notification from my American Express card that warned me about it. When I contacted PayPal, they did nothing about it, seemed like they didn’t even care (American Express canceled the charges). I subsequently closed my PayPal account. I find American Express the safest way to purchase online. Don’t ever use a Discover card, If there is a problem, they will not stand behind you.
