Hi all Wilson researchers.

My Wilson connection is my (maternal) g g grandmother Mary Jane Wilson who
married by g g grandfather Charles Regan at the Clonfeacle parish church
(County Tyrone) in 1853.

Marys' father was William Wilson and Charles' father was John Regan.

The Wilson's and Regan's came from the village of Blackwatertown (Clonfeacle
Parish) which borders Counties Tyrone and Armagh. I have had the privilege
of visiting the town.

They had several children, my g grandfather John Regan, was baptised in the
parish church in 1856.

The family were weavers and my g grandfather ultimately moved to Glasgow to
work in the cotton mills.

He married my g grandmother Margaret Stewart, in 1890 in Glasgow and my
grandfather Edward Regan, was born later that same year.

My grandfather emigrated to Australia in 1912, marrying my grandmother in
South Australia in 1918.

My mother was born in 1921 (lived to the age of 100). She married my father
Leo Kedward in 1948 and I am their second son.

I have my DNA on Ancestry but still patiently await matches with
Regan's/Wilson's from my Irish line.

Kind regards, Wayne Kedward
Sydney, Australia
