I know that my cousin, Thomas Chambers, has you engaged in doing
research. But I would like to ask about the other side of family. Do you
know of an equivalent of the County Tyrone list for Galway?

I believe that my mothers family came from that area.

Hi Don - sorry but I am not aware of a site for Galwy; however, a simple
Google search for "co galway, ireland genealogy" did bring up several
possibilities you may wish to check out.

Also, for anyone on Facebook, look for genealogy groups specific to an area
for your ancestors. There is a County Galway genealogy group. A lot of
these genealogy groups, I have found, have files uploaded that I have not
been able to find anywhere else. You get access to others interested in the
same area, same surnames, and the people in these groups can be incredibly
helpful in your research.
