Hi all! Last fall Rob Kimball had to take a break from Classical Showcase and Pickin’ Up the Tempo, and then in February he announced he couldn’t come back to either show. Laura took over PUT, and now Sal España has agreed to take over Classical Showcase in addition to his current show, Beyond the Fringe (in the meantime we’ve been running Extra Eclectic from Classical 24). Sal’s inaugural show will be Wednesday, May 3rd from 8-10pm. He will primarily focus on classical music from the 20th and 21st centuries. He’s working on a promo tonight, and we should have it ready to go in the next day or so. He’ll also have a blurb for the Programming Update, so we can all promote him.
