Hi all, It’s time again to collect gifts and food for Grass Roots II, this holiday season. We don’t have a barrel in the lobby yet, but people can still drop items off. There’s a script below and attached, and also in each studio. Please read it at least once per shift. Weekend hosts, please be ready to answer the door when people ring the bell. We won’t put this barrel outside, like we did the Thanksgiving barrel, because it will have gifts in it. Thank you! Marisa KCBX is collecting children’s gifts, food, and checks for Grass Roots Two this holiday season. Come to our studios through noon on the 23rd to drop off checks, holiday food for breakfast and dinner, and new or gently used gifts for children of all ages – including teens. We’re at 4100 Vachell Lane in San Luis Obispo. Ring the bell during business hours to drop off donations. Grass Roots Two is also looking for volunteers to help prepare and deliver holiday baskets for those in need. For details, call 805-544-2333.
