Hi all, Attached, below and in the MCR is the promo script to read requesting donations for the annual Grassroots II Thanksgiving Dinner for people in need. Please read it at least once per shift through 11am on 11/23. Thank you! mw Grass Roots Two will provide its annual community Thanksgiving Dinner at the San Luis Obispo Elks Lodge on Wednesday, November 24th. KCBX is collecting items for the dinner. You can come to our studios through noon on Tuesday, November 23rd to drop off Thanksgiving food, beverages, supplies and monetary donations. There’s a barrel in our front lobby at 4100 Vachell Lane in San Luis Obispo. Grassroots Two is also in need of volunteers to help prepare and serve food, decorate, deliver meals to homebound people, and more.
