I am having great difficulty researching them and the Carney/McCarney/Kearney/McKearney line any have come from this area too. Both names appear on this Clogher Parish record which is where I know the McKennas originated particularly Beltany. Do any records predate this Griffiths Valuation as my forbears were born about 1790 to 1820ish? Once again thanks for this researched information. It has helped.
