I keep watching your personal announcements hoping to see the death of Joseph Johnston, father of Andrew Johnston, reportedly in 1883 but I can't find any evidence to support that. The only Joseph that I find who died in 1883 was a bachelor.Thanks for doing this, Len.Peggy

Have undertaken a search of https://www.irishgenealogy.ie/en/ for all deaths of Joseph Johnston/ Johnstone/ Johnson for the decade 1880-90 (Cookstown and Dungannon registration districts), but located nothing relevant. Perhaps he died elsewhere or it is another instance of an unrecorded/ unreported event.
