Hi everyone,

With an increase in Covid cases in San Luis Obispo County, we need to
revisit KCBX’s REQUIREMENTS for all employees, hosts and volunteers.

If you don’t feel well, *STAY HOME. *Not just for Covid, but for cough,
cold, fever, flu symptoms. When in doubt because you may have been exposed
to Covid or flu, wear a mask inside the building.

I urge everyone to review our SLO County Health Dept updated Covid
information: https://www.slocounty.ca.gov/covid-19#CF.

If you find out you are or were exposed to Covid, wear a mask while at
KCBX. If you don’t have a mask, ask Claire for one of our masks. We also
have some Covid tests in stock.

If you have any symptoms: runny nose, fever, cough, flu, headache, stay
away
until the symptoms are gone. Confirm by testing.

While several of us were infected with Covid during the pandemic, the
infections were from sources outside of KCBX. Because of everyone’s
cooperation, we were able to maintain a safe environment inside the
building for several years.

In each control room we have a container of disinfectant wipes used to wipe
down equipment, desktops, doorknobs etc. In our studios and most other
areas including kitchen, front office, etc. there are containers of foam
hand sanitizer mounted on the walls. These are designed for frequent use in
areas such as hospitals.

If you have any questions, please let me know. But for those of you not
here during the Covid pandemic, to be clear, these are requirements, not
suggestions.

Please save and share with interns and volunteers as they come onboard.

Many thanks ~

Frank
