THANKS for all the work you continue to do, Louise, and thanks to CoTYRONE for the updated postings.
I'd like to make two additions to this listing for James Boak buried at Crosssroads
The text:
n loving memory of
James BOAK
Kildrum
26th Feb 1874
Aged 46 years
With the corresponding image:
https://cotyroneireland.com/graveyard/crossroads/boak.JPG
The text could be tweaked as:
"In loving memory of
James Boak
Kildrum
Who died 26th February 1874
Aged 46 years"
At the bottom of the stone it reads:
"NO PAIN NO GRIEF NO ANXIOUS FEAR
CAN REACH OUR LOVED ONE SLEEPING HERE"
Photo attached.
AND! Underneath the toppled headstone is its base with the words
"ERECTED BY HIS SON AARON"...
Am not sure what else else it may have for text
Photo of base attached.
Regards,
-Sandy
