Based on the answers they are supplying in those comment threads it would
appear someone else thinned out the herd and this seller is just trying to
collect on it.
Nice bunch of bikes but none of them appear rideable as presented and the
seller doesn't seem able or isn't interested in addressing any of those
issues.

The seller has a guy across the parking lot in his mancave complex selling it for him. This bike runs and is rideable. There's a video of it running in the comments.

Well, running-ish -- it's sucking air and won't idle, has to keep blipping
the throttle to keep it alive but not too abruptly as it bogs. I don't want
to ride a bike in that state of tune...
Also there's no service history, not even annecdotal, despite a long
ownership. I'd love the db2 but it's already at nearly Bimota Spirit prices
for a bike that needs everything attended yet.
Good for the seller, BaT is a powerful market maker, but that doesn't make
sense for me.

It’s just an air cooled 900 motor. Belts and oil and it should be good no?

Well, that and tires (wheel bearings?), brake fluid (pads and lines?), fork
oil and maybe seals (steering head bearings?), plus whatever fuel system
attention is necessary - carbs and jets, gummed up fuel pump, oxidized
tank. Chain and sprockets? Swingarm bearings? Shock service? It's all a
guess.
The cosmetics appear to be spot on, but with 15k miles it's not really a
typical collector example. But it's also a long way from being a fly-n-ride
opportunity.
<shrug> I'm perhaps not the typical consumer either.

I don’t know that some of that stuff goes bad with age. Wheel bearings? Fluids sure. Brake pads? Nah. Fuel system sure but if the tank has no rust, no big deal.
Just saying it’s not terrible and all those bits are easy to source unlike Bimota specific parts.

Agree, it may well be ready to run with just a tiny bit of attention, but
there's so much information not being shared it's hard to know.
Sorry to belabor this, I only mean to suggest the seller appears to have
performed virtually no diligence in preparing and presenting these for
sale, and in my experience that sort of omission is because you wouldn't
like the answers. Caveat emptor.

Yeah I hear you. Likely anyone that’s buying is just collecting and a bit of maintenance won’t matter much (or maybe not even get done).
These days I don’t want to own anything I’m not gonna ride regularly. I’d take the DB2 or Superlight and put 5-6k miles on a year personally. But ultimately I don’t get to ride for joy much given work and racing schedules so either would just sit. And that makes me sad. :-(
