He sure did - but then again, nobody else moved at all in that video right?

After last year’s drama, Marquez reclaimed his throne and showed everyone
who really is the King of The Americas.
The raw speed, consistency, the gap & the ‘dance’ were a blunt statement;
yer all nothin, but a floss, Fuck y’all! (Although I’ve read that the dance
was dedicated to a sick kid.)
Still....VR was the star ⭐️ of the show. Made some mistakes, but overall
was strong enough for the position. He really needs a faster bike.
I think Morbidelli can be a good potential for a factory Yamaha bike, but I
hope the race incident wouldn’t drop him from the cards.
Viñales is just not giving good race results anymore: very inconsistent.
LOL @ Crutchlow.
Did he really think he could repeat last year’s results? Fck outta here.
The Commenetarors (Brits of course) were like “CLEARLY He had the pace for
a win or a 2nd place result” L O L.
So. question for you experts here: is there a sensor on the grid line to
detects jump starts?

I understand the advantage of rolling momentum but it seems like generally
the rules tend to apply to leaving the box. Which he didn’t do until after
the green. It felt to me to have been a ruling improperly applied. I agree
with half the world posting this am that I doubt that penalty would have
been given to MM or VR if they had done it. Real shame, Cal was having a
great weekend.

Also, something something Rossi something Sunday man.
MAQ was just gone, nothing to say about that, but the old man pulled off
his usual despite (to spite?) his detractors.
Petrux did well to hang with the lead(ish, after MAQ) pack. Dovi seemed to
accept a podium as good enough and didn't really fight the Doctor for it,
did he?
I wonder where they would be finishing respectively had Zarco taken the
other Honda seat and Lorenzo the KTM (or Suzuki? Speaking of, WTF happened
to Iannone this weekend?) Oliveira is showing himself a rider.

But the rules clearly don't say anything about leaving the box...

Great summary here - looks like there is some discretion, but nothing about
the box itself (which is really there to stage the riders only):

Very difficult to judge from spectators’ point of view. If there’s a sensor
on the line, as Hodgson says, then perhaps that’s what triggered the call.
If not, then the steward who made the call got some real good eyes.
The analysis was that Crutchlow was rolling forward. Whether there was an
advantage or not, the rules state that the motorbike must be stationary, to
which he was not. Break the rules and expect a penalty.
These guys are real professionals in highest level of motorcycle racing on
this planet. It ain’t no club racing. The level is so high that they cannot
afford to make the slightest mistake. This way, the level will keep moving
up.
