Hi all!

Lately I’ve heard a few people mispronounce some names on donor cards that
have pronunciation guides on them. The most recent is longtime local
conductor Michael Nowak (NOH-vak).

Please look at the pronunciation guides on the card first, and practice it
out loud. Please always pre-read cards and practice them before going on
mic.

If you have any doubt about how to read broadcast pronunciation guides, I’m
attaching the UPI pronunciation key for you to look at.

Thank you!

Marisa
