Thank you Jim and Len.
A query – my McQuaid/McQuades were baptised in Clonfeacle, with place of residence being Clontyclay which doesn’t appear as a Townland in this list. Why would that be, do you think? Too small perhaps?
Dorothy

Hello Dorothy,
Clontyclay is a townland in Killyman parish (that part within Co. Armagh). I have previously transcribed and indexed Griffiths Valuation for this parish and it can be found here: www.cotyroneireland.com/griffith/killyman2.htmlhttp://www.cotyroneireland.com/griffith/killyman2.html

Hi Dorothy, the Parish of Clonfeacle straddles the Tyrone-Armagh border.
My maternal ancestors came from Clonfeacle-Armagh and my paternal ones
from Clonfeacle-Tyrone. Gordon
PS Mum and Dad met when both lines moved to Belfast, despite their
Clonfeacle ancestors living barely 10km apart. Hardly anyone travelled
in those days - unless to war.
