As regards the spelling of John Liggett’s townland address (Derrygreevney), I have transcribed it as it is recorded. The townland is clearly stated to be within Aghaloo parish, but is not listed as an official townland in that parish (possibly a subdenomination)? [cid:image002.png@01D6B1E6.52751E90] There are three Leggett leaseholds recorded in Griffiths Valuation of Aghaloo parish,(George, Samuel & William) but not in any townlands spelt similarly: Drummond, Annaghsallagh & Knockaroy. I don’t think it could be confused with Derrycreevey .
