Checking Metadata!

What is metadata, you might ask?  It is the text and graphics that
accompany our signal on newer radios.  Most car radios come with it now.
It allows listeners to see the name of the show that's on the air, the name
of the song and artist, and on some real fancy radios even a picture of the
album cover.

The computer that generates metadata is getting older, and crashing
periodically (maybe about once a month), and sometimes it doesn't get
noticed for several days.  I'm asking for each of you that have radios that
receive metadata to please keep an eye on it every time you tune in to
KCBX.  Here at the station, the radio in the kitchen displays metadata.
When it crashes, it either just sticks on the show that was airing at the
time of the crash and doesn't update, or it will just say KCBX HD-1 with no
additional information.

If you see that, please text or email me ASAP.  Marisa, Frank, Brad and I
have all been trained on restarting the metadata PC, and can get it done
fairly quickly - once we know about it!

Thank you for your help!

Hank.
