Hi all, California Public Radio Day is coming up this Thursday. We’ll be promoting it ahead of time and really talking it up on the day of. It’s a day when public radio stations all over the state are banding together to stir up support for public radio in California. If you are a music or talk show host and have a show between now and Wednesday, please read the attached promotional scripts at least once per hour during your shift. If you are a music or talk show host and have a show on Thursday, please read the attached day-of scripts every break during your shift. If you are a staff host or will be doing your show live, the scripts and a bunch of recorded spots/tags will be in the control room. Please play the spots (in the folder on the MCR computer desktop) and read the “Before the day” tags through Wednesday, and read the “On the day” tags on Thursday. The spots won’t be available until Monday, but the scripts are in there now. Thanks everyone!
