Thanks, Jack. Was not really hurt aside from a bruise on my leg and a broken clutch lever. So glad it's fixed!Tom, I ride from Santa Ana to Monterey often. I went to The Quail twice on the 20th and 25th anniversary of the Monster. The first was with a group of about a dozen organized by Ducati. That route followed 101 and then cut over to 1 through Fort Hunter Liggett using Jolon Road and Nacimiento-Fergusson Road. The second time I used my usual route of 101 to San Marcos Pass and Foxen Canyon Road, then back to 101 at Santa Maria. I take the route over to 1 from San Luis Obisbo and travel 1 to Monterey. Sometimes I stick on 101 through to King City and then take S-16 to Carmel Valley Road. Normally I do the whole trip in 1 day, but sometimes I stop in Solvang or San Simeon overnight. Hope this helps.Syl S.2018 M8211984 GPz550Sent via the Samsung Galaxy S7, an AT&T 4G LTE smartphone
