Lots of holiday merriment for our website Songs of the Day next week,
including a full video session from JD McPherson and a full recorded video
session with Sharon Jones from 2016. Every day features someone who we play
often on KCBX. Please let your listeners know about this feature.

Just a reminder: each weekday on our website we feature a different video
of a song or full session recorded at various public radio stations and
national radio shows around the country. The link is on our front page.

KCRW, Los Angeles

Los Lobos researched holiday songs from North, South and Central America
before recording their first ever holiday album in Spanish.  This
performance was recorded for KCRW’s Morning Becomes Eclectic.

JD McPherson translated his rockabilly sound into an album of original
holiday songs.  He shares a few of those at WNXP’s Sonic Cathedral.

Lover.”  She is also known for her activism for animal rights,
