Normally when someone like Zanetti shows up it’s at least partly to assess
the competiveness of the current team. This weekend will likely prove to be
a problem for Kyle.  But if the assessment in Borgo Panigale is the bike
can win with the right rider,  and that can turn into Superbike sales, any
factory would at least consider a program.
On that note, did anyone pay attention to last weeks GP test where the
testers were on race bikes but the active riders were on street machines?
The street Ducati electronics were pretty impressive. There’s no doubt it’s
a cutting edge tool even by MotoGP/SBK standards.

The talk at the track was how Ducati Corse took a WSBK spec bike and
created a MotoAmerica spec bike. They said the big difference between the
two is that the MA bike uses a stock transmission.

The other topic was how the WSBK bike was built for Pirelli tires and no
one knows how it, and Zanetti, will perform with Dunlops.

Also, I think Celtic has been replaced with Warhorse (maybe?).

Kyle had a rough weekend. They are using a stock motor in his bike and he's
not found a set up he's comfortable with. Although, he did finish 5th in
race 3. He was doing well in race 2, but made a mistake at turn 1 which put
him in 14th. He finished 9th in race 2.
