Hi all, We have a barrel from Grassroots II in our lobby once again. Please read the script below and attached (and in the studios) to encourage people to drop by the station and donate presents and food to families in need. Read it through whenever they pick up the barrel on Monday (probably in the afternoon). Thanks! Marisa KCBX is collecting children’s gifts, food, and checks for Grass Roots Two this holiday season. Come to our studios through noon on the 23rd to drop off checks, holiday food for breakfast and dinner, and new or gently used gifts for children of all ages – including teens. We’re at 4100 Vachell Lane in San Luis Obispo. Ring the bell during business hours to drop off donations. Grass Roots Two is also looking for volunteers to help prepare and deliver holiday baskets for those in need. For details, call 805-544-2333.
