Hello on air people! On Wednesday after 5pm our new legal ID will be, “KCBX
HD-One San Luis Obispo and KNBX San Ardo” (please remember not to say “and
KSBX Santa Barbara” any more after that date).
Also, please stop saying “serving the Central Coast from Salinas to
Ventura” or “from Salinas to Santa Barbara.” Instead, please say, “serving
San Luis Obispo, southern Monterey and Santa Barbara Counties.”
I’m attaching an updated formatics sheet with these changes (and to refresh
you about our formatics). I’m also attaching an updated list of our
frequencies and the communities they serve.
Thanks for updating your announcing with these changes,
Marisa

Thanks Marisa!
Does this also mean we can’t use previously recorded evergreen shows that
used the former legal-ID?

Hi David, good question! We can air old evergreens, but replace them with
new ones over time. But if possible, it would be great to simply edit out
the SB ID on older ones, or record new top of the hour breaks and edit them
in.
Thank you!
